Your tasks are:

• Be responsible for designing, developing, deploying and operating microservices as part of a team

• Develop mission critical applications at a very high scale

• Work in an agile environment (scrum by the book)

• Cooperate with the product owner, the scrum master, the domain experts, the tech lead and other devops teams

• Develop in diverse, distributed cloud-based (AWS) technology stacks using Python

• Focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery

What we're looking for:

• Several years of experience in backend development (preferably in Python)

• Knowledge of relational database technologies (eg.: MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Able to write clean code

• Experience working in Linux environments

• Prior experience in web development

• Being ready to make decisions on your own and being able to work in a team as well

• Being motivated by challenging problem solving

• Good English language knowledge or being ready to develop your skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of microservices and serverless architectures

• Experience in designing and developing complex systems at scale

• Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc…)

• Knowledge of other programming languages (nodejs, java)

• Experience in any agile methodology, SCRUM in particular

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (eg.: Redis, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, etc.)

• Knowledge of containerization/virtualization (Docker-based system)

• Relevant higher education

• Experience as a full-stack developer
